The mountain bike and cyclo-cross rider, from Tansley and a student at Chesterfield College, represented Great Britain at the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships and finished second in the National Cyclo-Cross series and third in the National MTB Series.
Arthur says: "In the forthcoming season I will be moving up into the under-23 category and will hope to be challenging for podiums at a national level as well as being selected to compete for GB.
"My current training is all involved in my daily commute to and from work in Derby (from Matlock) which is around 40 miles a day.
"Within this, I do a range of intervals sessions or rest (easy riding), depending on the day of the week and what competitions lie around the corner.
"I choose to do as much racing as I can, competing at as many rounds of the local leagues as possible to get race fit for the big competitions."
