The 20-year-old netballer, from Codnor Park and a student at Loughborough College, is part of the BUCS League and Loughborough Lightning Training squad as part of the sports' performance pathway and plays for the Loughborough University first team.
Isobel says: "I am currently a member of Loughborough University Netball Performance Squad competing in BUCS North Premier League. Being a third year student in Loughborough, I was selected to be vice-captain of the team this year
"I was very happy to take on this role as I believe that I have the leadership skills to help lead the team this year. I am also a member of Linden Netball Club, a Premier League team situated in Birmingham. This allows the opportunity for high-level match play and exposure to tough opposition regularly.
"My goals for the 2015-2016season are to push on with my fitness levels, become stronger and more robust in order to perform well against physical opponents.
"My ultimate goal is to perform consistently for the rest of the season in preparation for Loughborough Lightning Superleague trials in order to represent Derbyshire within National netball. It is important for me to make sure that I try and act on the feedback that I have received throughout the season in order to improve technically.
"My training programme consists of four S&C sessions and two court sessions along with robustness and conditioning each week. As it is now the netball season, I also have two competitive matches per week, which are part of the BUCS League and Premier League 3.
"I am hopeful that for the rest of the season that I will continue to improve in training and perform well. Finally, I also hope to develop my coaching skills this year by completing my L1 coaching course in order to inspire young, future netballers and revisit my coaching role at Oakham School."
