Justin is a 16-year-old skier from West Hallam who is on the GB Park and Pipe Performance Pathway. He claimed a silver medal in slopestyle at the British Indoor Championships Slopestyle, a result he matched at British Slopestyle Championships in the Under-16 category, where he also finished seventh overall.
Justin says: "I will be skiing at the London Ski Show on the Jibworx Rails and the snow kicker Mount Battersea for The BRITS and London Ride, this month.
"After that, I will be heading out to Stubai with the GB National Academy for two weeks of training in the Snowpark and then coming home to work on my GCSEs.
"I have competitions coming up over the next year: The Europa Cups, BRITS and in February in China. All of this means a hard year of training and studying. Ideally I need to train as much as possible on snow to ensure my tricks are competition ready.
"Also, over the year, I will be training at The Snow Centre, Hemel where I am a sponsored rider, and up and down the UK on different dryslopes. All of this helps to make my performance better, with different transitions and speeds.
"Long term, I want to compete for my country at a Olympic Games and pass on all the skills I have learnt from my Coaches to another generation of freestyle skiers."
