The 14-year-old wrestler, from Wirksworth and a student at Anthony Gell School, is a member of the Middleton and Wirksworth Freestyle Wrestling Club where he has progressed to be a regular in the National Talent Squad.
Shaun says: "I have been wrestling for seven years and train twice a week at Middleton and Wirksworth Wrestling Club.
"I attend Midlands Regional Training, which is held a minimum of eight times a year and also attend National Talent Squad Training, which is held in Salford.
"I have completed my White, Yellow and Orange Awards through training and assessment.
"I have represented Great Britain in Latvia three times since September 2014. In September 2015 at the Jelgava Youth Open Tournament in Latvia, there were 16 in my weight category I came second and brought home a silver medal.
"During 2016, I hope to be selected to compete at other International competitions with the National Talent Squad. I shall be attending numerous competitions throughout 2016 in the UK, representing Middleton and Wirksworth Wrestling Club.
"It is my dream to represent my country at the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics when I am old enough."
